Primer - the first layer of any paint job
Paint primers, primers or simply priming sprays are among the essential basics for any paint job. They form the first layer between the surface and the paint, varnish or ink. Many surfaces require pretreatment with a primer or primer sprays. They prepare the surface for painting and protect the material of the surface to be painted. In addition, primers help to achieve a color-fast and opaque result, especially with fluorescent colors or light shades. In addition, primer sprays improve the durability of paint finishes and keep this fresh and color-fast in the long term.
To make paintwork even more resistant and durable, it is recommended to seal the paint with a layer of clear lacquer. Varnish sprays or clear coats form the final layer of the paint, create an even finish in matt, satin or gloss and protect the paint from external influences. For special cases and professional applications, MTN 2K clearcoat (two-component product) is recommended.
It all depends on the right primer
Depending on the surface to be painted, it is important to select the right primer. The materials to be painted often have different properties and therefore react differently to paint applications and also to primers. You can find primer sprays for metal, aluminum, plastic, polystyrene (Styrofoam) and even practical spray fillers for uneven surfaces. The mostly thick coat of spray fillers is ideal as a primer for porous materials such as plaster, stone and wood and is suitable for filling small gaps or holes in the surface to be painted.
