Between 2019 and 2025, he and friends from all over Europe traveled to the birthplace of modern trainwriting ten times to witness the creation of wholetrains and wholecars up close and capture them photographically. Grokenberger tells the story from the perspective of a writer embarking on a journey to the roots of graffiti – a search for historical parallels, creative development and personal expression.
