2001. After a decade of graffiti on trains and the legendary Dirty Handz series, Opak and the SDK stop painting trains in France because they have come into conflict with the law. Twelve years later, the SNCF accelerated the scrapping of the country's most beautiful trains and announced the official end of the famous “petits gris.” This was the spark that prompted Opak to set out on a quest to paint all these mythical trains one last time. In the form of a logbook, the first volume of Painted Graves Vol.1 reveals the details of this adventure and its origins in the 1990s.

This volume, Painted Graves Vol.2, is a tribute to friends who left us too soon: Risk (Finland), Stone (France), Remo (Switzerland), Math (Holland), Nesh (Austria), Choc (Belgium), Ruzd (Germany), and Aone (USA). Travels, flashbacks, and the search that comes to an end. Most of these trains, painted or not, have also disappeared in the meantime.
